This video, first released in 2001, has now been re-released in DVD version to mark the centenary of the Midland Red.

The DVD version is fully authored, and includes extras not previously available in the original.

All the 1979 Live sound archive footage is available as a single movie without any modern material spliced in between, and without any kind of commentary or voiceover - just the melodic tones of BMMO 10.5 litre engines, and SCG gearboxes. Not only that, but the sound has been processed to simulate stereo audio.

There is also more archive material from Rod Bates, and Brian Dicks than was shown on the original DVD. These are available as separate movies. A small video of a D9 traversing Trafalgar Square as an open-top sightseeing bus is included.

The DVD runs for 55 minutes and is priced at £15.00.

Previous owners of the VHS version can purchase the DVD version for £7.50 (about half price).
