Guildex
2000 was our second visit to the Telford Exhibition. Included are all
26 layouts exhibited at the show, but in this video we also travelled
to meet some of the masters of railway modelling, and film them doing
what they do best.
We
have features on:-
-
Tony
Reynalds, who we see constructing and fitting parts to a tender for
a 'Jubilee' model that he was constructing at the time.
-
Carl
Legg (sadly now deceased), designing brass etch kits using his computer,
and then fitting door handles and stops to coach side panels
-
Malcolm
Mitchell gives tips on how to roll tapered boilers, and construct
locomotive kits
-
Alan
Brackenborough describes his painting technique, and then shows how
to line a Southern locomotive
-
Martyn
Welch talks about weathering and shows his technique on a mineral
wagon
The video
is 90 minutes in length
It
is available in DVd price GBP 9.99 (Postage and Packaging free to
any worldwide destination)
